Personalized Project Gallery
Every personalized piece tells a story — a family name, a meaningful date, a favorite place, or a gift created to mark a special moment.
This page is a collection of custom pieces I’ve handcrafted over time, showcasing the range of materials, designs, engraving styles, and ideas that have come through my workshop. From laser-engraved keepsakes to one-of-a-kind wood pieces, each item reflects a collaboration between maker and customer.
These pieces were created specifically for the individuals who ordered them, so they’re shared here as inspiration rather than items for purchase. While exact duplicates aren’t available, many designs can be reimagined or customized to fit your own vision.
If something here sparks an idea, I’d love to help you create a piece that tells your story next.

Chasing the Horizon
This custom walnut serving board was created as a gift for someone whose favorite place is on a mountain bike, chasing trails and open horizons. Personalized with the name “Ben the Biker” and a detailed bicycle engraving, the design celebrates both adventure and individuality.
As the board took shape, the natural walnut grain revealed something unexpected — a warm band of lighter wood stretching across the surface, forming the image of the sun rising over a distant horizon. What began as raw lumber transformed into a scene that mirrors the feeling of early-morning rides and wide-open trails ahead.
Designed with carved wells for beverages and a generously sized center area to hold a tablet, the board invites gathering, sharing, and storytelling—whether it’s used for game-day snacks, outdoor entertaining, or relaxed evenings at home.
With sturdy handles, thoughtful layout, and rich natural character, this piece became more than a functional board. It became a story captured in wood — a one-of-a-kind keepsake made to reflect passion, movement, and the beauty that can only be found when craftsmanship and nature meet.

A New Chapter Begins
This custom walnut board was created to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter. Designed as a meaningful gift, it features the couple’s initials framed by a delicate laurel wreath and marked with “Est. 2024”, honoring the year their story officially began.
As the board was shaped and finished, the natural walnut revealed striking contrast between light and dark grain — a reminder that no two pieces of wood, and no two love stories, are ever the same. The gentle curve of the paddle handle and the board’s generous surface make it both functional and symbolic, blending everyday use with lasting sentiment.
More than a serving board, this piece was crafted as a keepsake — one meant to be displayed, used, and remembered — capturing a moment in time and turning it into something tangible, warm, and enduring.

Forever, Engraved
This custom walnut board was created to commemorate a meaningful milestone — the beginning of a shared life together. Featuring a small, understated monogram, the piece is engraved with the Moran family name and the wedding date 6.15.2024, allowing the personalization to feel elegant and timeless rather than bold or overpowering.
As the board came together, the natural walnut grain revealed deep movement and contrast, with lighter tones settling near the base like a quiet horizon beneath the engraving. The subtle scale of the monogram lets the beauty of the wood remain the focal point, while still marking the occasion in a deeply personal way.
More than a serving piece, this board was crafted as a keepsake — one designed to celebrate a wedding day, honor a new beginning, and carry meaning long after the moment itself has passed.

The Whale
This board carries a journey as remarkable as the person it was made for.
Purchased by a client in Annapolis, Maryland, who leads expeditions to Antarctica, the board was commissioned as a gift for her business partner living on the southernmost tip of South America. What began in a small workshop traveled thousands of miles — from Maryland, across the Southern Ocean, through Antarctica — before finally arriving at its forever home in Argentina.
Crafted from ambrosia maple, the wood revealed a naturally placed knot that seemed almost intentional. Once filled with blue epoxy, it transformed into the unmistakable shape of a whale, a quiet nod to the oceans, wildlife, and exploration that connect their work and their lives.
This piece became more than a serving board. It became a symbol of distance bridged by friendship, of adventure shared across continents, and of how something handmade can carry meaning far beyond the place it was created — a story written not just in wood, but in miles traveled and memories made.

Family Heirloom
This custom walnut board was commissioned by a realtor as a meaningful closing gift, created to celebrate the moment a house truly becomes a home.
Engraved with the initials of both parents and their two children, the design brings the family together within an infinity circle — a symbol of continuity, connection, and the memories still to come. At the center sits a small paw print, representing the family’s beloved fur child, a reminder that every member of the household has a place in the story.
Crafted from rich walnut, the natural grain flows gently beneath the engraving, adding warmth and depth to the piece. More than a serving board, this creation was designed as a keepsake — one that marks new beginnings, shared milestones, and the excitement of turning the key in the door for the very first time.
